Our Story

I was out to dinner with a good friend when, on a whim, we decided to order a bottle of wine—despite having little to no experience with drinking wine. What followed was a revelation. From that moment on, my curiosity for wine became insatiable, setting me on a lifelong journey of discovery.

Decades later, after savoring countless bottles from six continents and visiting wineries across five, I now find myself in France, building a life around the passion that brings me joy: Wine.

Why focus on the lesser-known wine regions of Southwest France? The answer is simple, though the story is long. I’ll do my best to keep it brief.

Southwest France is a breathtaking region—a tapestry of châteaux, winding rivers, rolling hills, and vineyards steeped in history. While Bordeaux, with its well-earned prestige, stands as a global icon, its wines often come with a price tag that makes everyday enjoyment a luxury.

So, my journey has led me two to three hours beyond Bordeaux, to the captivating wine regions of Bergerac, Cahors, and Gaillac. What these appellations have in common is my own personal experiences with the passionate winemakers and their remarkable wines offering exceptional value—all of which I look forward to sharing with you.
